Day Schools, extra classes and what one of our tutors has been up to!
Hello from the Adult Learn and Train Team
How is it October already? The nights are already drawing in, it's getting colder, and the winter wardrobe is back in its glory! Has anyone noticed the Christmas stock back in the shops? or do you try to walk past that aisle?!
Our term started on the 18th September, and over the last couple of weeks, we've settled 63 courses and welcomed 629 learners.
Our first day school of 2025-26 takes place in just two weeks on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October .
Take a look at the full descriptions in the link below.
To get booked onto one of these courses, give us a call on 01223 712340, or drop us an email: office@adultlearning.education.
Can't do this weekend? Come and join us on Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th November.

Look what one of our tutors has been up to:
The picture above features our tutor, Lisa Fretwell, and her husband, Peter, at a book launch in September. Peter is a cartographer and scientist with the British Antarctic Survey. He is credited with discovering nearly half of the world's emperor penguin colonies and has written a book for the publishing company Penguin—surprisingly, it's about penguins! Lisa, who is also very talented, created all the illustrations for Peter's book.
Check it out.
A bit of extra reading for you:
The Adult Learn and Train Officer has been working on a blog this month. The blog comes from the heart; and explores the importance of Lifelong Learning in the community. If you have a couple of minutes, have a read and feel free to pass on any feedback:
